175-Day Charity Countdown To Our 175th Anniversary!

Frederick Mutual has a legacy of giving back to the community and encourages employees, policyholders, constituents, and vendors alike to join in as they kick-off the 175 day countdown to their 175th anniversary through charitable giving.

This summer the Wear-A-Pair For Charity initiative encourages employees to wear jeans to work for the entire summer with a donation to the charity of their choice.

For the month of June, all donations are given to Ellicott City Relief (through Disaster Aid USA) in response to the disastrous flood which destroyed homes and businesses, displaced over 100 residents, and took the life of a brave National Guardsmen while he saved a fellow citizen.

In July, the company will support the Vietnam War Veterans Monument project sponsored by the Joint Veterans Council of Washington County, MD to honor local veterans.

In August, Frederick Mutual employees that wear jeans will make donations to Heartly House, Inc., an organization in Frederick County that provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.

We are proud to donate to these worthy causes and many more as we countdown to our 175th anniversary in 2018!
